A proposal space to live with art.

I had poor eyesight since childhood and disliked wearing glasses, but after turning twenty, I began wearing them, and they became a part of me. My astigmatism was particularly severe, making the world appear hazy and indistinct, so the clarity of vision I experienced when wearing glasses was truly striking. Yet, that was a view seen through artificial lenses; the memories of my past belonged to a world that was hazy and ambiguous. Photography by Hidetoshi Shinohara
